If you associate yourself with the critics, the chicken littles, the worry-warts to whom the sky is always falling, the negative minded who told you your ideas will not work and accept every doom and gloomy information, very soon their negativity would infect you and you will start to think and see things their way. If you want to fly with the eagles you have got no time to waste scratching with the turkeys. Associate with like-minded and stay away from critics. Set high standard for your friends and refuse to compromise.
By continued association with optimistic, result-oriented, go-ahead people, a previously average indidvidual begins to perform at extraordinary levels. This is why almost every major change in your life will be associated with the people you work and live with.
Make it a point to associate with the kind of people you like, admire, respect, and want to be like sometimes in the future. The kind of people you would be proud to introduce to your friends and associates. Find someone who has done what you want to do and let him mentor you or be your role model.
